Ekogården

Ekogården or Ekogårdens ställplats, is as the name suggests an organic farm. Here in the middle of Österlen you can enjoy several tourist activities and the best that Swedish summer has to offer. A stay at Ekogården is close to nature and earth without compromising on amenities.

Here you are welcomed by a family atmosphere where both kind dogs and cats live in a rural spirit on the farm, which has been run organically since 1996. Stay in a caravan, motorhome or why not pitch a tent and become one with nature, at Ekogården there is room for everyone. The farm is open during the summer season and other times by appointment by phone or email.

Ekogården's parking lot offers parking spaces for everyone, both for long and short periods. Everything from emptying latrine, refilling fresh water, and access to power for both the vehicle and those who drive electric cars, is available.

In the area you will find nice dry toilets, showers, fireplace, playground, washing facilities, electric poles and Wifi.

Experience Österlen up close at cozy Ekogården! You will find this little gem between the sea and Gyllebosjön, right next to the well-known Mandelmann's farm.

When you stay at Ekogården's campsite, you also stay in the middle of beautiful Österlen in Skåne, where several summer activities are available to explore. If you want to experience nature, you will find a beautiful waterfall in the nature reserve Forsemölla, only 3 km from Ekogården.

Another noteworthy destination that has become popular with the TV program is Mandelmann's farm only 4 km from Ekogården Experience this beautiful oasis in Österlen and recognize yourself from the filming locations of the popular program.

If you want to discover the surrounding area, there are bicycles and canoes for rent.

If you want to take a swim or two, you are never far from the sea. Try one of the beautiful beaches that spread out along the Baltic Sea coast. In the nature reserve Gyllebosjön there is a bathing area with changing rooms and an ice cream parlor where the water is warmer than the sea!

If you are looking for a little more city feeling, we recommend a visit to Simrishamn. Here you stroll around in a cozy little town where both old and new neighborhoods can be discovered. Experience the museum, the harbor, several lovely restaurants with all possible food, and various cafes for those who are hungry for coffee. Shopping in most stores is also available in Simrishamn, which is located only 12 km from Ekogården's pitch.

During the summer months there are several events to experience in and around the city such as art exhibitions, music concerts and not least flea markets.

The famous seaside resort Kivik with the national park Stenshuvud next door is a popular destination near Ekogården. There are many good restaurants, a sculpture park, 2 tree collections with unusual trees and Sweden's largest market in mid-July.

The surroundings around Ekogården and Österlen offer both hiking and cycling trails, both inland and along the coast. A perfect way to get closer to Swedish nature.

Check-in at Ekogården is from 15:00 - 19:00 and check-out is before 12:00 on the day of departure.

Ekogårdens Ställplats is open from the first of June to the last of August when summer is at its best! Other times by appointment, including long-term parking. The farm also offers electric car charging.
