Kävsta Camping

Kårsta 205, 860 40 Indal

Description

On the banks of the Indalsälven river in a southern location we find Kävsta Camping. The campsite is run by the nice host couple Sandra and Udo who will do their utmost to make you feel comfortable at this family-friendly facility.

Although Kävsta Camping is located in the middle of Norrland, the area around the campsite is spared from many mosquitoes. With its open landscape and gentle breeze from the water, you can enjoy the sunset without being eaten.

Kävsta Camping has 36 camping plots for those who come with a motorhome, caravan or tent. The camping pitches can be rented with or without electricity. The cottage village at Kävsta Camping consists of 7 cottages, ranging from 2-bed to 4-bed cottages. All cabins are equipped with refrigerators, beds, tables and chairs. There is also a water heater in each cabin. If you want to rent bedding, you can do so on site for a small fee.

The service house at the campsite is well maintained and fresh. The service house has access to a shower, toilet, kitchen, baby changing room and laundry facilities for all guests. It is possible to empty the latrine for fixed tanks.

Kävsta Camping has a child-friendly sandy beach located in a protected bay with groundwater and a large lawn for ball games and other activities. Along the beach there are several piers for those who want to jump into the deeper water and take a swim. At the beach there is a sauna that can be booked around the clock.

Fishing within the campsite water is included for you as a visitor. The fishing in the Indalsälven is very good, here you can, depending on where on the Indalsälven you are, fish everything from trout, grayling, pike, perch trout and char. At the campsite there is a barbecue area where you can then grill what managed to get on the hook and enjoy the fantastic nature when you eat.

For children, in addition to the child-friendly beach, there is also a playground and a miniature golf course to challenge each other. You can also rent a canoe and play boules.

At the campsite there is a service shop with a small range of products if you need to supplement something. However, the campsite recommends that you buy both food and drink before you check in.

The hiking trails in Indal attract both Swedish and foreign tourists every year. Many call the Indal Trail the most beautiful tourist trail in Sweden. Indalsleden starts at the coast in Timrå and Bergeforsen and runs along the waters of the Indalsälven all the way up to the coast to Trondheim in Norway. In other words, there is a lot to explore if you have the explorer in you.

Other things to visit depending on the season are Gudmundstjärns Nature Reserve, Glimårännan, Wästergården's garden café and the old Ödekyrkogården cemetery in Anundgård, which has been here since 1570.

If you want to get some big city pulse, Sundsvall is about 30 minutes away by car. Sundsvall is an exciting city with lots of restaurants, bars and attractions.
