At the tip of Lake Mycklaflon in the Småland highlands lies Mycklaflons Camping. Here you come if you are looking for silence, calm and proximity to the lake and nature as the main experience. Sloping hills, extensive forests and large stones all the way from the ice age. In other words, the perfect place for those who love nature. The campsite is run by the nice couple Ben Schimmel and Hanny Harmsen.

There are a total of 40 camping pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. 25 of these campsites are equipped with electricity. The cabin village consists of 4 camping cabins and 3 safari tents.

In the service building and common areas there is access to showers, toilets, handicapped accessible bathrooms, kitchens, dishwashing facilities and latrine emptying.

Lake Mycklaflon is known for its clean and clear water, so bringing your swimwear to Mycklaflon is a must. At the campsite you can rent a rowing boat, canoe, pedal boat or windsurf board. If you have children in your party, in addition to swimming, they can also play on the playground in the area or play miniature golf or billiards.

Trollpackan's kitchen is the name of the restaurant at the campsite. The restaurant has a tasty menu for both young and old. Fresh bread is delivered here every morning between 08:00 and 11:00.

The campsite and restaurant organize midsummer celebrations every year. On Midsummer's Eve, a midsummer party is organized in traditional Swedish style with an accompanying buffet. If you want to organize parties at the restaurant for special occasions, you can do so if you notify us in advance.

Other activities that you can do near the campsite are swimming, hiking, fishing, riding, cycling.

The fishing water in Mycklaflon is very good with several different fish that you can catch and grill in the evening. Perch, bream and mountain pike swim around here. In fact, fishing enthusiasts come here from all over Europe every year to fish. A fishing license is required and is sold directly at the campsite!

If you stay at the campsite, you are close to several fun attractions and tourist destinations, one of which is Astrid Lindgren's World. The theme park based on the author's books has been one of Sweden's most popular summer destinations since 1981 when they opened their doors for the first time.

If you feel like trying more fast-paced activities, there is a go-kart track in Bruzaholm. Outside Växjö there is also Europe's longest Zipline. Little Rock Lake Zipline as it is called is located in the middle of the wilderness in the forests of Småland. Here you are surrounded by forest and lake without a house in sight. In total, there are 4 km of lines to ride on. Swedenzipline that offers this opportunity also has a viewing tower with climbing, a restaurant with several local and locally produced meals, specially designed hot tubs and many other unforgettable experiences.

Other activities in the immediate area are Kleva Gruva, Trästaden Eksjö, Älgparken Målilla, Smalspåret, Nils Holgersson's world and 1000-year-old Kvilleken.

Good to know

The campsite is open from May 1 to September 30. In high season, the reception is open from 8:00 to 19:00. The site is accessible to the disabled. Wifi is free to use for everyone staying here.

If you have pets, they are more than welcome.

Credit cards, Swish and cash are accepted at the resort.

If you have more questions before check-in, we recommend that you call the reception at the resort directly. During high season it is open from morning to evening.
