Norraryds Camping

Norraryds Camping is a campsite for those who like the Småland forests, Swedish nature and all the activities that come with it. The campsite is located by the lake and the national park Åsen in the middle of Småland.

At Norraryds Camping there are 16 plots with electricity and about 6 without electricity for caravans, motorhomes and tents. If you want to camp, there are nice tent areas. If you want a little more comfort, it is possible to rent one of the cottages in the area. The cabins are equipped with all modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay. At Norraryds Camping there are also 20 Glamping tents that are booked in packages with activities for at least a week with change on Saturdays. These are booked directly with us.

Norraryds Camping does not lack opportunities for those who love action. There is a municipal beach with a jetty in the campsite area. The water is shallow and often warms up quickly during the summer, which is great for guests of all ages and for the swimmer who thinks the water is usually too cold. Norraryds Camping offers rental of kayaks, canoes, rowing boats and fishing equipment. If you want to buy a fishing license or supplement your fishing equipment, you can also do so here. If you like to bathe in the sauna, there is a lovely sauna that can be booked for your own seal.

If you want to challenge each other in pentathlon, you can try Rydskampen with archery, climbing wall, slingshot, air rifle and axe throwing.

Many who come to Norraryds Camping take the opportunity to try their MTB course. A tricky and fun course that suits both adults and children. Even you who have no experience of mountain biking will appreciate this fast-paced adventure. If you prefer a calmer ride, it is possible to book a guided tour around the Hönshyltefjord. This is also designed to suit guests in all age groups.

There is a newly built café at Norraryds Camping. The café has a large terrace overlooking the lake. It serves everything from homemade cakes, hot sandwiches, sandwiches, salads, and yummy pies with seasonal fruit and berries. Of course, coffee, soft drinks and sweets are also available here.

If you need to buy food and other accessories before or during your stay, you can do so in Ryd, which is about 2 km from the campsite. The neighbors Tingsryd, Växjö, Karlshamn and Älmhult are also within driving distance if you want to do some shopping.

Norraryds Camping is open between April - October with high season between June - August. The reception and cafe is open 08:30 - 12:00 and 15:00 - 19:00 during the summer and staffed at irregular times during the low season. The area has WiFi and offers free private parking. Pets are allowed.
