Notåvallens Camping

Notåvallens Camping is a scenic little campsite located on the shores of Gimån, in the middle of the Jämtland landscape. Here there are several cozy camping plots and tent sites for rent with a fantastic view and environment.

The campsite also has three cabins with four beds in each cabin for rent.

The service house has access to a kitchen with two toilets and two shower rooms.

As a guest at the campsite, you have access to a variety of activities. Here you will find a football pitch, a tennis court, a bathing jetty with a fun water trampoline and various games such as kubb, boules and frisbee. All this can be rented at the campsite.

Along the Notån river and Lake Gimån there are several nice bathing places to swim upstream and downstream. On a beautiful summer day, you can pack your lunch and explore the local area and find your own favorite spot.

Or you can head to Albacken's garden pantry, which serves a different and exciting menu in a cozy and homely environment that is unlike any other. The restaurant focuses on locally grown products and selected interior products to give you as a guest that unique feeling when you are here. Here you can have lunch and taste waffles, homemade food, fresh sandwiches and good pastries.

The lake and the area also offer several great fishing opportunities. Here you can fish for trout, grayling, char and pike. If you manage to get a bite, you can use the barbecue area at the campsite.

The area attracts lots of hunters every year as elk, red deer and small game run around here. Hunting is conducted in three areas of about 1,500-2,000 hectares each.

In addition, you can visit Kamrisdalen, Klevsands Gravfält and Källbergsgrottan, which is the fifth longest cave in Sweden with a crawl length of 160 meters. In Bräcke municipality there are over 700 lakes, this together with a fantastic nature and several local tourism companies.

If you need to buy groceries or the like, the nearest grocery stores in Bräcke are a short distance from the campsite. The nearest supermarket is in the village of Kälnare, which you can easily reach by caravan.

The campsite is run by Albacken's sports association, which is on site every day during the summer. The opening hours of the facility vary depending on the season and weather.
