Rödlix Vandrarhem & Camping

A warm welcome to Rödlix Vandrarhem & Camping. Rödlix hostel & camping is located about 9 km south of beautiful Varberg in lovely Halland. The facility is close to the sea and right next to the old E6 (coastal side).

Rödlix hostel & camping is a modern campsite located on a converted farm. Here they have chosen to preserve the rural feel to create a harmonious and relaxing environment.

If you are looking for a campsite with the quiet rural feeling where proximity to several bathing areas, golf, bird watching and shopping is available, then Rödlix hostel & camping is the perfect campsite for you. The campsite is both family and pet friendly, so bring your four-legged friends and enjoy together.

Rödlix hostel & camping is a slightly smaller family campsite. There are about 50 pitches that include electricity and plenty of opportunities for those who prefer camping.

At the campsite you will of course find a service house that includes everything you can imagine for a comfortable stay. The campsite has provided the service house with facilities such as: individual showers, individual toilets and a kitchen of a more reasonable nature, washing and drying facilities and of course latrine emptying.

Not only that, they have set up a 150 square meter indoor hall where you can practice several activities such as boules, darts and others.

If you have the dog with you, there are several nice walking paths around the entire Rödlix hostel & camping.

At the campsite there is a green environmental approach. The hot water that you shower with is produced in the most environmentally friendly of ways using both heat pumps and solar panels.

In Rödlix Hostel & Camping neighborhood you will find several excursion destinations for both young and old. Examples of this are Öströö sheep farm where you can enjoy farm shops and café with an ecological focus located by a beautiful beech forest and of course all the pastures for the sheep. If you prefer shopping, the well-known department store Ullared Ge-kås is also not far from here.

In the vicinity of Rödlix hostel & camping there are several bathing places. Björkäng is about 3 km south where you will find a large and lovely sandy beach with shops, restaurant, mini golf course, playground and several evening activities are offered.

We also have Galtabäck's harbor which is about 1 km away. There is a cozy little sandy beach, a marina and a boat museum. If you want to watch birds, they have a tower set up for the bird-watching individual. Do not miss Träslövsläge which is about 3 km from the campsite. Here you will find Halland's largest fishing port and sandy beach, restaurants, shops and the well-known ice cream café "Tre toppar".

If you like windsurfing, Apelviken is recommended, which is about 5 km from the campsite. In addition to this being a great location for windsurfing, there is also a large sandy beach and restaurants available. Of course, you should not miss Varberg, which is 9 km from Rödlix hostel & camping. There you can visit the cold bath house, spa hotel, the promenade or why not take a nude bath?

For the golfing guest, you will find several golf courses adjacent to the camping area. For example, Varbergs GK, Klosterfjordens GK, Hofgårds golf course and last but not least Kärradals golf (pay and play system).

The hostel is open all year round. The campsite is open between April 1 and mid-October.
