Sangis Motell och Camping

Sangis Motell and Camping is beautifully situated along the E4 highway, between Kalix and Haparanda. This little hidden gem attracts passing campers every year with its charming location and surroundings.

At the resort you will find several types of accommodation depending on how you travel. Everything from motels to camping and caravanning sites are available at affordable prices. Put up a tent or park your motorhome or caravan in the meadow right next to the beautiful river. Or why not rent one of our cottages that are available in 2 and 4 beds and different standards. You can also rent a room at the motel located in the charming main building.

In the area you will also find a reception with a newly renovated dining room, washing machine, dryer and toilets with showers. The service area is of a high standard and is cleaned daily.

Swiss couple Verena and Daniel combine a friendly personal approach with a high level of service to make your stay at the campsite as memorable as possible. In fact, there are plenty of fun and unique activities and attractions to experience here and in the surrounding area.

Why not treat yourself to a trip on the Sangi River in a rowing boat or canoe and discover the wonderful nature that surrounds the river. The fishing waters of the Sangis River are good and do not require a fishing license, equipment is available for rent at the reception.

There is a sauna and bathing jetty on site, which can be combined with a nice view of the scenic landscape. You will also find several barbecue areas in the area. Adjacent to the campsite there are several cozy walking paths that are suitable for walking around in both summer and winter.

In the vicinity is the unique shop Army Stuff, which sells military surplus in the form of clothes and gadgets. Here you can buy functional clothes and gadgets you wouldn't find anywhere else. If you want to find more bargains, there is a shop in Båtskärsnäs where you can find lots of antique items to take home.

If you want to experience a little more pulse, you can go to Kalix and wander around the cozy streets and shops. There are restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shopping. Top this off with a walk along the beautiful promenade and you have a wonderful summer day.

If you bring your ski equipment and come to the campsite in winter, you can head to Skridfinnarleden, which offers beautiful hiking trails. In fact, the area offers several great opportunities for cross-country skiing and other winter activities. If you have forgotten your skis, you can rent them at the reception.

If you want to experience something unique, we recommend an excursion on the icebreaker Polar Ice Explorer, which attracts tourists from all over the world. The program includes an ice-cold bath at sea that you will not forget. Don't miss this!

Sangis Motel and Camping is open all year round. The campsite has free WiFi throughout the area.

Your pets are more than welcome to stay with you.

The reception is open from early morning to late evening and you will almost always find Verena and Daniel on site if you have any questions.

The resort's 5 cottages and 10 caravan pitches are only available during the summer.
