Skånes Djurpark - Camp Oak

Sleep with bears and wolves as your nearest neighbor! Camp Oak at Skånes Djurpark offers an extraordinary camping experience. Take part in a two-day wilderness experience for the whole family where you live in the middle of the zoo in our magical tent village. You get close to animals and nature in a way you never thought possible before.

You live comfortably in our tentipi tents equipped with heating elements and electricity, in the middle of the zoo's enchanted forests. In other words, the tents are heated and have access to both electrical outlets and warm sleeping mats. Here you can enjoy an organic breakfast in nature and an evening meal over an open fire. In addition, you get the unique opportunity to visit our cool animals at dusk and dawn two days in a row.

A stay at Camp Oak includes:

• One overnight stay in the Camp Oak tent village.
• Two days' admission to Skåne Zoo.

• Guided tours after the park closes

The price is 4495 SEK for up to 4 people, children under 3 years old are free of charge. Extra people pay SEK 500 per person.

At Skåne Zoo you are always close to the playground, you have a water park and there are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Skåne Zoo is the world's largest zoo for Nordic animals. The park is located in the middle of the Skåne wilderness and gives you a unique opportunity to get close to bears, wolves and other Nordic animals in a way you never thought possible before. In the daily program you can follow the keepers as they feed, activate and get to know all the wonderful animals at Skåne Zoo.

For smaller children, there is the opportunity to visit Shaun the Sheep in a 20,000 square meter land with a tractor track with Massey Ferguson tractors and farm animals of all kinds. It's guaranteed that you will meet all the favorites from TV - Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Lamm, Bitzer are all in place and offer daily fun antics in the park.

At Skånes Djurpark you will also find Expedition UPP, a swaying adventure trail among the treetops that gives you completely new ways to experience the wildlife. 9 meters above the ground, suspension bridges wind along a 350 meter long adventure that makes the hunt for wolves and deer something completely different. Skånes Djurpark also offers a wonderful adventure pool with cooling water play, water slides that lower the temperature even on the hottest summer day. As if this was not enough, you also have Vaxsjön within walking distance of the park where you can experience a lovely bathing place in a beautiful environment.

• Flashlight - Darkness can make it tricky to find your way back to your sock sack
• Seat pad - Moss works well, but an extra pad never hurts, right?
