Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby

Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby is a West Gothic gem right on the border with Småland. The campsite is a scenic family camping with a fantastic range of both activities on the campsite and in the area, people come here all year round.

Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby has a total of 50 camping plots with electricity, a fantastic area for tents overlooking the lake and cottages equipped with everything you could possibly need for a modern and comfortable vacation.

The high quality service houses have showers, separate toilets and kitchens with laundry facilities.

At Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby you can choose whether you want an active vacation or enjoy the relaxation that is only possible when you become one with nature. As the campsite owners themselves put it What is more relaxing than rowing out in the dawn or evening sun and sitting in the calm of the lake with a fishing rod and waiting for a bite?

Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby has a swimming area located right next to the campsite at the fabulous lake Åsunden. Here you will find a beautiful sandy beach where you can sunbathe, a lawn where you and your company can vary relaxation together with summer games and a jetty where you can dive or stare out over the beautiful landscape. There is also a barbecue area and an adjacent beach volleyball court.

In the area there is a kiosk that sells refreshing drinks, ice cream and other goodies during the high summer. On cold and rainy days, there is a bathhouse in Ulricehamn about 2 km from the campsite. The bathhouse offers entertainment for the whole family, water slides and a children's pool, a well-equipped gym and a cozy café.

Although there are plenty of wonderful summer activities, it is the ski slopes that are famous among visitors to Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby. Postcard-like hiking and cycling trails attract visitors from all over Europe every year. Many bring their bikes (which can also be rented at the campsite) to try one of the three technical courses in Ulricehamn - Lassalyckan. All routes start and end behind Hotell Lassalyckan. These MTB routes require that you have experience as an athlete. For those who do not have this experience, it is great fun to watch and cheer.

At the campsite there is of course a sauna that you can rent as a guest. The sauna is located right by the lake and has a large panoramic window with a magical view to enjoy towards the lake and sunset.

At Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby there is a restaurant that is open all year round that has a delicious menu and a wonderful view of Lake Åsunden. The restaurant has full rights and has created many fine and unforgettable vacation memories over the years. The venue is also suitable for weddings, conferences, parties and can be booked all year round.

Fishing is also good in the area. There are no less than seventeen lakes and rivers. Here you can fish for burbot, eel, pike and bream, trout and perch. Fishing licenses are required for fishing in all the lakes and can be purchased at the campsite.

Skotteksgården Camping & Stugby is open between April and the end of September each year. The campsite has full service between June and the end of August with the reception open between 09:00 - 21:00 during high season.

The area is adapted for the disabled. Dogs are welcome.
