At Stora Lesjön about 35 kilometres south of Arvika in western Värmland, you will find one of Sweden's most beautiful campsites, Sölje Camping. One of the big highlights at Sölje Camping is the annual swimming school that takes place three weeks during the summer. Lots of children around the country have learned to swim right here with the knowledgeable and experienced staff. In the vicinity of Sölje Camping there are fine fishing waters. Perch and pike are plentiful and if you want to try your hand at noble fishing in so-called put and take water, you can also do so. Sölje Camping is a very popular summer campsite. Midsummer's Eve is a holiday that attracts many visitors around the country. On the first Saturday in July every year, there is also a popular family party and in early August a party in the spirit of the crayfish party.
