The Mangévie

The Mangévie is a family-friendly campsite and bed & breakfast in Furudal, Dalarna. The Mangévie is actually an old school that has recently been built and become this lovely camping with bed & breakfast. Take the chance and experience one of Sweden's most beautiful landscapes in the most cozy way possible.

The area has camping plots for both motorhomes, caravans and tents. There are also 5 apartments with 4 to 9 beds. All camping pitches have electricity and the apartments are fully equipped with living rooms and very fresh kitchens and bathrooms. There is also a summer café (open in summer 11:00-15:00), as well as a small zoo which is a very popular option for the little ones.

The apartments are run on a self-catering basis, but breakfast can be booked at an additional cost. On request, dinner can also be arranged.

A visit to The Mangévie is the perfect opportunity to check in and check out. Unwind, far from everyday life and all the daily worries and enjoy the best Sweden has to offer. At The Mangévie the whole family will enjoy themselves, big and small.

Rättvik in Dalarna County is a lovely holiday gem in Sweden. Take the opportunity to rent bicycles or take a dip in Oresjön, located in the immediate area, we also offer boat and canoe rental. If you are fond of moose, we recommend that you go for a walk, as there are plenty of moose in the area.

Near The Mangévie you will find Siljan, one of Sweden's most popular lakes. It is also close to Falun, Mora and Borlänge. A visit to the valleys is not complete without a visit to the Dalhalla Amphitheatre and Langbryggan, a 628 meter long bridge in Rättvik.

In winter, you can try ice skating on the frozen lakes or even dog sledding or skiing at Orsa Grönklitt. Once you have experienced all this, you can go on a wonderful cross-country skiing or snowmobile tour.

In addition to this, you have a water park and a river forest and wild animal park nearby.

If you like hiking, there are several wonderful areas to visit. Styggforsen, Helvetesfallet and Storstupet are just a few options.

There is plenty of transportation to and from The Mangévie. There is a train between Stockholm and Rättvik. Then there is a bus from Rättvik that takes you all the way to the campsite.

About the accommodation at The Mangévie: All camping pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents are equipped with electricity.Rörö - A bright and modern apartment for 5 people with 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a double bed, 1 bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed. The apartment also has a kitchen, living room and a bathroom.Dalarna - A small apartment for 4 people with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed.
